Established in 2021 by a North Carolina father of two, BLK DAD represents the intersection of its founder's two greatest sources of pride: being Black and being a father. Black men have long been stereotyped and misrepresented, resulting in an abundance of false narratives, many surrounding their roles as fathers.
The BLK DAD brand aims to acknowledge the presence of Black fathers, positively amplify Black fatherhood, and proudly honor the unique responsibility that comes with being both a Black man and a father.
